About Dr. Mah

Dr. Mah received his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

He has been in practice in Fremont since 1981, having also served for 12 years as the Director of Optometry Clinic in Oakland’s Asian Health Services. Dr. Mah is also a member of the Alameda-Contra Costa Optometric Society, the California Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Society.

Each year, Dr. Mah demonstrates a strong commitment to enhance his professional skills by attending educational seminars on topics ranging from eye diseases to contact lenses. He is certified to treat various eye diseases with therapeutic drugs, and co-manage in the pre- and post-operative care of laser refractive surgery. This enables him to provide his patients with the most up-to-date vision care.


About Dr. Ching

Dr. Ching received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. While completing her studies at UC Berkeley, she interned for and was mentored by Dr. Mah.

Among Dr. Ching's many accomplishments are serving in the Meredith Morgan University Eye Clinic, VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, Alameda County Medical Center, VA San Francisco Medical Center, and the Castle Family Health Clinic. She has extensive experience in optometric primary care, contact lenses, binocular and low vision, and ocular disease. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and Alameda-Contra Costa Counties Optometric Assocication. Awards and honors include the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and scholarships based on her academic achievement, demonstration of outstanding patient care and commitment to leadership and service in the optometric community.
